Our Opener and Pro memberships do not require credit checks. Instead, we use data from your registration payment to detemine lending risk.

We look at a number of factors, including the historical approval ratings for your credit card and email address on the Stripe payment network. 

This data is used to determine if your account will require a security deposit to activate. 

We refund your deposit in full after you do one of the following:

-You return your borrowed item

-You have two consecutive months of on-time monthly membership payments

-You cancel your account (pending return of the borrowed gear)

Sure! If you know you've got good credit and would prefer to do a credit check instead, we can send you a link to do that.

We use a soft pull credit check software that does not impact your credit score. 

It also does NOT require any sensitive personal information like your social security number. 

No worries! We understand that security deposits might not be your thing.

We would be happy to issue you a full refund and close out your account if you'd prefer not to pay the deposit.
